He began cold-messaging 20–30 professionals per role—not asking for referrals, but for honest advice about what employers really wanted.
This approach eventually paid off. Through genuine mentorship and improved strategy, Farhoon landed a sponsored role with KPMG UK as an Audit Graduate in 2019.
Experience at KPMG UK
Farhoon’s time at KPMG UK (2019–2020) was transformative.
He learned the structured, competency-based recruitment style that UK firms use. He also saw first-hand what employers expect from graduates—and how different those expectations are from what many international students prepare for.
At KPMG, he secured his visa sponsorship through their competitive Launchpad assessment, giving him deep insights into the sponsorship process that many international students struggle to navigate.
Scaling a FinTech Startup
After KPMG, Farhoon joined Raindrop, a UK fintech startup, as the third hire and Growth Lead (2021–2022).
He led marketing and customer acquisition, helping grow revenue from £6 million to £20 million in just 15 months.
This startup experience taught him high-velocity execution, digital marketing, and how to use technology—including AI and data—to scale businesses.
Farhoon credits this period with giving him the practical skills he now teaches his students about growth marketing and personal branding.
Antler Cohort and Validating His Mission
In 2022, Farhoon won a place in Antler’s Cohort 7, one of the world’s leading venture builders.

He then founded International Hustlers (2023–2024), a paid membership community. To fund it, he took out a £7,000 personal loan—betting everything on his mission.
